The Kinasa Tourism Association (hereinafter referred to as “this site”) has established the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as “this policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information obtained through the services (hereinafter referred to as “this service”) provided on this website.

This site may ask for an individual’s name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address when an inquiry is made.

3. How we use your personal information

The purpose of obtaining and using personal information on this site is as follows.

1. To provide and operate services on this site.
2. To respond to inquiries from users (including to confirm user identity)
3. To contact users when necessary to inform them of maintenance or other important information.
4. To identify users who have used this service for false or fraudulent purposes, and to discontinue said user’s use of this site.
5. For purposes related to the above purposes of use.
   

4. When we change the purpose of use

1. This site will only change the purpose of use of personal information in cases where it is reasonably deemed to be relevant to the purpose of use prior to the change.
2. In cases where the purpose of use is changed, this site will notify users in accordance with the methods prescribed by this site or announce the change on this website. 
   

5. How we share your personal information

1. Excluding the following cases, this site will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of users. However, this excludes cases recognized by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and regulations.
   1) When it is necessary for the protection of life, body, or property of a person, and it is difficult to obtain consent from the individual.
   2) When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or necessary to promote the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain consent from the individual.
   3) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency or local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by a national agency or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law and obtaining consent from the individual would likely interfere with the execution of said affairs.
   4) When the following items have been notified or publicly announced in advance and this site has notified the Personal Information Protection Committee of the following.
   ・That the purpose of use includes providing personal information to third parties.
   ・The data items that will be provided to third parties.
   ・The method or means the information will be provided to third parties.
   ・Terminating provision of personal information to third parties at the request of the individual.
   ・The means by which the individual’s request will be accepted.
2. Regardless of the preceding paragraph (1), in the following cases, the recipient of such information will not be recognized as a third party.
   1) In cases where this site outsources all or part of the handling of information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
   2) In cases where personal information is provided in accordance with the continuation of operations due to merger or other such circumstances.
   3) In cases where personal information is used jointly among specific entities, this fact and the personal information items to be used jointly, the scope of those who will use the information jointly, the purpose of use of those who will use the information, and the name or title of the person responsible for the management of the relevant individual’s personal information will be reported to the individual in advance or will be readily available to that individual.

6. Disclosure of personal information

1. When personal information is requested to be disclosed by the individual, this site will disclose the information to the individual without delay. However,　if disclosure will result in any of the following cases, the information may not be disclosed in part or whole, and when it is decided that the information will not be disclosed, notification to that effect will be made without delay.
   1) In cases where there is risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of that individual or a third party.
   2) In cases where there is risk of causing significant hindrance to the proper execution of the operation of this site.
   3) In cases that violate any other laws and regulations.
2. Regardless of the previous paragraph (1), as a general rule, information other than personal information, such as viewing history information or characteristic information, will not be disclosed.

7. Correction and deletion of personal information

1. In cases where this site possesses incorrect personal information about a user, the user can request that this site correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as “correct, etc.”) their personal information through the process prescribed by this site.
2. When this site receives a request from a use as mentioned in the previous paragraph (1) and determines there is a need to respond to that request, this site will correct, etc. the relevant personal information without delay.
3. In cases where this site makes a correction, etc. or when it is decided that a correction, etc. will not be made based on the previous paragraph (2), the user will be notified of that decision without delay.

8. Suspension of use of personal information

1. When this site receives a request to suspend the use of or to delete personal information on the grounds that the handling of the information exceeds the scope of the purpose of use or that the information has been obtained through fraudulent means, this site will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
2. Based on the results of the preceding paragraph (1), in cases where it is deemed necessary to comply with the request, this site will suspend use, etc. of the relevant personal information without delay.
3. In cases where use has been suspended, etc. or it has been decided use will not be suspended, etc. based on the previous paragraph (2), this site will notify the user to that effect without delay.
4. Regardless of the previous two paragraphs (2 & 3), when suspension of use, etc. involves a large cost or it is otherwise difficult to carry out the suspension of use, etc. in cases where necessary alternative measures can be taken to protect the user’s rights and interests, such alternative measures will be taken.

9. Policy changes

1. The contents of this policy may be subject to change without notification to the user except as otherwise provided by law or this policy.
2. Unless otherwise specified by this site, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
